Hello! My name is Mariela. And yes, that is me in the Yankee shirt up above. Who said a girl who is into makeup, handbags and, heels cannot be into sports? They obviously lied.
I am a Leo in her roaring twenties. Living in Brooklyn, New York, dancing around the big city and dreaming about the entire world. Along with being a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant, I currently work for an architectural firm as a project manager and I am majoring in engineering.
Virginia is my home-away-from-home state. I have a soft spot for nature; green trees, flowing rivers, steep mountain trail ways, and the fresh open air. I am in love with anything penguin- The penguin is Theta Phi Alpha's mascot and I am happy to say that I have the best sisters in the world.
I am Dominican-American, first generation. I've been to three continents and traveled to nine countries. I go to church every Sunday. I love writing hand written letters. And, my mom is my hero.
A few of my favorites include singing in the car, scrapbooking, baking, looking at bridges and old structures, doing makeup, Italian food, and traveling.

***By the way, a fun fact about the picture above, that baseball game was so horrible I didn't know whether to cry because I was sad or mad. Either way my mascara wouldn't of run. The guy way behind me was clearly mad.
